This is an average quality journal at a low price. I used this journal as my 2021 bullet journal and liked it at the time, but did have some problems with it. Now that I’ve tried many others, I wouldn’t recommend this brand. The outer paper layer of the spine cracked after using the journal for six months, but the inner layer held firm, so the journal stayed together but does look worse for wear. The journal doesn’t cope very well at all with watercolour and bleeds through if you use a LOT of water (I won’t do that again). There is no ghosting or bleed-through from any of the other pens or markers I have used.
Their customer service is hit and miss. At the time of this review I asked the company to correct their marketing materials and they finally responded to my emails and confirmed they were fixing some of the mistakes, for instance the wrong GSM advertised. They then ignored emails again…
The dots look darker than usual, but they’re not, they’re just larger than usual, which makes them stand out more. I was worried about this at first, but it doesn’t bother me at all after using it for a while.
