From the first moment you pick up this YourBujo journal, it feels like a premium product. The 150gsm paper is 100% recycled from production offcuts, and looks, feels and performs like a quality product. The environmental sustainability is increased by the minimal packaging, proving that a product can be sent internationally without an ounce of plastic in the package.
A couple of dark coloured water-based markers bled through the paper when going over the same spot more than once. The watercolours didn’t bleed through despite using lots of water, and looked pretty good, but did make the page wrinkle. I was able to choose the design on the cover and you can also have the journal personalised for an additional cost.
My in-depth review video looks at the construction of the journal, the quality of the paper, the environmental sustainability of the journal, interesting information about the company, and includes a pen test of a full range of pens and watercolour paints. See my pen test page for an explanation of each test.
