I’ve been wanting to do a bee theme for ages. I used a mix of stickers and created honeycomb with washi tape. I drew a few of my own bees with Tombow markers.

I tried to think of a fancy way to use these girl stickers from a washi tape by the Washi Tape Shop, but ended up just doing a simple layout using offset boxes.

I was dying to do a theme with washi tape and was also looking forward to doing some sort of dutch door layout. It took me ages to come to a decision, and ended up deciding to use this mediterranean sticker set and finding matching washi tapes to do brick walls that I then cut around every second page.
March – Coloured nature

I sorted through all my sticker sets and settled on this one, but then couldn’t decide how to pull it all together. I tested a few ideas and settled on full colour, using my chalk based stamping inks with a stamp from my collection, then added some washing tape dots as well.

I absolutely love pop-ups. I originally started looking into a complicated popup that would have taken ages to create, when I happened on a video explaining how to make these bugs. I was sold straight away. The bugs were a great excuse to pull out my colouring pencils, which I’ve missed using, and I got a bit carried away with the bug themed headers. I love everything about this theme.
