Dingbats markets themselves as the ‘environmental journal’ and the facts go a long way to supporting that claim – the journal has FSC paper, they consider things like the quality of water post production of the journal, and the full life cycle of their product (all commendable), and they are the only vegan certified journal, which is impressive. See this video for an explanation https://youtube.com/shorts/kVyQwHsLEiw?feature=share
The 100gsm paper is on the caramel side of cream, there are bullet journal markings in this Earth Collection version (if you don’t want those markings select a Wildlife Collection journal), the page numbers are inside the grid and in dark circles, and the paper is very smooth and ideal for fountain pens. Have a look at the technical specifications tab for more information.
My in-depth review video looks at the company and their products; the construction, features and markings of the journal; the company’s approach to environmental and social responsibility; and a pen test of a full range of pens and watercolour paints. See my pen test page for an explanation of each test.
