Maruman Mnemosyne

Maruman’s Mnemosyne notebook is their top quality fountain pen friendly notebook. Made in Japan where paper is revered, you can see the care that has gone into creating this journal. It has ivory pages with dot grid markings and a banner at the top where you can enter the date and a title for the page. My previous standard for smooth paper was my Rhodiarama notebook, but this notebook has markedly smoother paper. The coating on the paper means that it takes a while for wet pens to dry, but it did stop watercolours and markers bleeding through the page. It had surprisingly good pen test results for 80gsm paper.
