Bullet journal setup

  • by

One of the first challenges when opening that beautiful new bullet journal that you’ve been looking forward to using, is deciding how to set it up for use. On this page I share my more recent bullet journal setups, and a video that looks at which spreads I used in each of my seven bullet journals over the last four years. Don’t be afraid of your new journal. Jump in and remember that you can always add pages later when you find you need them.

This post will be a quick reference for finding my bullet journal setups post 2023, starting from January 2023 in my Nuuna journal.

October 2023
Notebook Therapy journal

Starting late in the year means that it’s partly a fresh start, with some things still carrying over from the previous journal. Theme was coffee, and spreads included an index, future log, monthly memories, reading log, when did I last, 23 in 23 + 1 (I was still working on my 23 in 23 but thought I’d add one in recognition of 2024), work/skill/interest, a business plan, weight loss, quote, daily routine, body measurements, and monthly theme index.

January 2023
Nuuna journal

This setup had an owl theme and included a monthly theme index, future log, when did I last, journaling ideas, monthly memories, goals, mini habits, 23 in 23, books read, meal planner.
